What is Pulse Flushing Technology?
Pulse flushing is the core innovation of the KSRO system, allowing the system to operate at a nearly 100% recovery rate during the production cycle. During the flushing cycle, the system automatically opens the flush valve before the concentrated water reaches saturation, preventing scale formation.
More importantly, the sudden change in flow rate over a short period creates a water hammer effect, which helps to dislodge contaminants from the membrane surface, keeping the membrane clean and significantly extending its lifespan.
