Innovation RO Systems for Agriculture
Case Study

WHAT IS KSRO?

Designed For High Flow Rate & Sensitive Crop Irrigation

KSRO Series RO systems are specifically designed based on the KISS principle—"Keep It Simple and Smart." Combining high-efficiency water-saving technology with heavy-duty commercial design, they are the ideal solution for modern agricultural and hydroponic projects.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF OUR KSRO SYSTEM IN AGRICULTURE?

Optimal Soil EC & pH Control for Crops

With pure RO water as a stable base, growers can precisely control nutrient formulations, preventing salt buildup in the soil and ensuring maximum crop yield.

65% Water-Saving Recovery

Our fixed 65% recovery rate maximizes pure water output while saving precious local water resources, dramatically reducing water bills for large-scale agricultural projects.

Zero Crop Interruption with Parallel Backup

By deploying multiple compact KSRO units in parallel, you ensure continuous irrigation. Even during scheduled membrane maintenance on one unit, other units keep running to feed your crops.

Zero-Risk Operation for Farm Staff

The "One-Button" start and no-regulation-valve design mean farm operators require zero specialized technical training, eliminating the risk of system or membrane damage from manual setting errors.

CASE 1:

10,000 LPH (10 m3/hr) Reverse Osmosis System for  Intensive Agriculture in Taiwan

Project Overview

Blueberries and other high-value crops are highly sensitive to soil salinity (EC/TDS) and pH levels. To ensure optimal nutrient absorption and maximum yield, this organic farm in Taiwan needed a reliable irrigation water treatment solution. ROTEK installed a smart parallel configuration of 10 KSRO6000 units, delivering a stable 10,000 LPH agricultural RO system that produces premium pure water without the need for a bulky, custom industrial setup.

Performance & Results

Setting up our compact commercial reverse osmosis units in parallel offers massive advantages for large-scale agricultural projects up to 20,000 LPH:

  1. 50% Cost Savings: Reduces equipment and shipping costs by half compared to traditional, custom-built single systems.

  2. High Flexibility: Production capacity easily scales up or down to match seasonal crop water demands.

  3. Zero Downtime: Crop irrigation never stops—maintenance is done unit-by-unit while other systems keep running.

  4. Compact Footprint: Requires significantly less physical space than rigid, traditional 8040 membrane systems.

  5. Simple & Smart: Our valve-free design eliminates manual setting errors, protecting your investment and crop health.
