UFC series UF Membrane Systems
1,500-6,000GPD (250-1,000LPH)

ROTEK UF membranes have a pore size of 0.01um, which is specifically designed to remove high molecular weight substances, colloidal materials, bacteria, and organic and inorganic polymeric molecules. These membranes are highly efficient, requiring only 20% of the energy consumption of reverse osmosis systems, and can operate at low pressures to achieve high flux rates. In addition to removing high turbidity and particles,

Our UF systems are effective at eliminating microbiological impurities such as bacteria, viruses, and parasites, ensuring a constant filtrate quality even in the presence of temporary or microbiological contamination. The spiral wound membranes used in these systems are robust and can be operated in either a dead-end or cross-flow process. Timer relay control allows for adjustable flush and filtration duration, and a range of control options provide flexibility and reliability in operation. Chemicals can also be added as needed, based on the untreated water quality, to support the cleaning process.

Advantages

  • Removal of turbidity with constant filtrate quality

  • Very high bacteria and virus retention rates of 99.99 % respectively

  • Minimum energy and water consumption in dead-end and cross-flow operation

  • Simple to install and operate

  • Compact design ensures convenient installation
in the existing systems control room

Applications

  • Surface Water Clarification

  • RO Pre-Treatment

  • Waste Water Treatment
